Welcome!

I can't tell you how excited I am for the next life adventure. I've been writing for as long as I can remember. It has been my way out, my ventilation system. Some how, writing what I needed to say always came easier than just saying what my heart wanted to reveal. When I was 12 years old, I told someone who was very influential in my life at the time of my dream of being a writer/journalist. Though the individual may have had the best intentions in mind, I was discouraged to pursue because from that person's perspective, my dream didn't come with financial stability or growth. So I took the route I was encouraged to take. That road led me to some good places. I met great people, and even had great experiences. But, it was in the roughest times of my life that I still found myself...you guessed it...WRITING! SO here I am, 37 years old. A believer in Christ, a wife, a mother, a teacher, and AUTHOR! God has allowed my dream to return to my heart, just as it did when I was 12 years old. It's exciting, it's scary. I love it, and I also question if I'm really cut-out for this. But no matter what side of the coin I feel on any particular day, I'm committed to pushing it into the slot of opportunity! I'll just trust God for the rest!
